The precision milled face has a Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) insert, where the chain-link milling gives a smooth and consistent roll, while optimising sound and feel. LD Fastback has an integrated sole plate in 6061 aluminium, which makes it possible to distribute more weight towards the putter’s outer edges and increase MOI (Moment of Inertia) for stability through the stroke. Two 25-gram tungsten weights in the sole ensure a heavier, evenly distributed weight balance.
To compensate for the increased overall weight, the model has a specially designed 17-inch gun-shaped grip that weighs 136 grams. The non-tapered grip allows for softer grip pressure and a more controlled putting stroke, while also contributing to an even head-to-hand balance.
